🟧 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀? Here’s my simplified #inheritance planning SOP, as applied at #NeoWealth, for securely passing on your seed phrase:

1️⃣ Durable Storage: Metal beats paper. Your seed phrase on fireproof metal, stashed securely, lasts longer than you. Literally. Just avoid environmental degradation. Pro tip: Redundancy in different spots = good.

2️⃣ Plain Instructions: Explain Bitcoin and how to access it like you’re teaching a 5-year-old. Store these instructions with your estate docs. Jargon-free = stress-free.

3️⃣ Multi-Sig Setup: Split your keys. One to your heir, one to your lawyer/executor. Neither can access until you’re gone. It’s a security jigsaw puzzle they complete when you’re off the grid.

4️⃣ Extra Passphrase: Like two-factor auth for your seed. Keep the seed and passphrase apart (password manager, lawyer’s vault, etc.). One is worthless without the other.

5️⃣ Dead Man’s Switch? Risky. Sends your seed on your “death.” But third-party trust is dicey. If you must, vet it well.

6️⃣ Seal with Estate Docs: Trust your lawyer? They can hold your seed in a sealed envelope, to be revealed at the right time. Trust and protocols = non-negotiable.

⚠️ Educate Your Heirs: Knowledge is their best tool. Teach them why Bitcoin matters, how to secure it, and how not to lose it.

🚨 Security and access are a delicate dance, but worth it for your Bitcoin legacy. Only work with qualified professionals.
