2024 | BUILDING THROUGH THE STORM | PAIN, GROWTH, AND QUIET VICTORIES

This year was a storm, a relentless test of resilience and clarity.

Pain shaped my path. Watching #Lebanon suffer while my family remains there was heartbreaking. It reshaped my priorities: I turned down conferences, skipped podcasts, and chose to step back. Sometimes, stepping back isn’t giving up, it’s how you anchor yourself in chaos.

Growth found its way through the cracks. Despite the challenges, #Bitcoin’s momentum kept building. Mining tied to family offices and manufacturing sites was the top entry point for my #NeoWealth clients, a reminder that even in tough times, innovation finds its way. Skipping speaking at #BitcoinMENA to protect my personal data was the right call, and attending #ABC2024 reignited my energy, both personally and professionally.

Quiet victories brought clarity. Being suspended on X by the fake, oppressive media machine? Strangely, it felt like a win. #Nostr turned down the noise, letting me focus on the signal and what truly matters.

This year taught me one powerful truth: Resilience isn’t about surviving the storm, it’s about building through it. Pain teaches us. Growth transforms us. Quiet victories remind us why we keep going.

To anyone navigating their own storm: Stay humble. Keep building. Keep stacking.

Today, on Day 2 of #ABC2024 in #Nairobi, I attended a session that shook my soul—a conversation about freedom for Somalia and #Palestine.

Fadi’s words brought me to tears. He spoke of #Gaza, of innocent children and families trapped under relentless oppression. Their voices are silenced by an occupying state, yet hope still flickers.

Fadi called #Bitcoin a lifeline—a way to break barriers and deliver support where no traditional system dares. A currency of freedom in a world of control.

The moderator asked: “Will we witness a #FreePalestine in our lifetime?” Fadi’s reply: “Inshallah.”

I believe it. Because as long as we speak, fight, and resist, freedom is inevitable.

Well done, Africa Bitcoin Conference . This was the most powerful session for me so far—it truly hits home.

My 2 sats: The strong attendance proves there’s growing interest in privacy year after year. But for the global south, a hands-on workshop teaching practical tips and tricks to boost basic privacy might resonate even more.

If you’ve never lived or worked in #Africa, it’s hard to grasp the sheer determination it takes to mine #Bitcoin in countries in Africa. These miners are from #Kenya, #Nigeria, #Zambia, and #Ethiopia. Every operation is a victory against challenges most can’t imagine.
